Me recording the vocals to “Break Even” by The Script. The video clips are for filler during the instrumental part since I had no intention of dancing. lol
Never realized how much more impact vocals are when you can see the person singing. Do you agree? Please comment here or on YOUTUBE.
Rep. Anthony Weiner Admits Tweeting Lewd Picture

Admitting that he had “not been honest with myself, my family and my constituents,” Rep. Anthony Weiner has confessed at a press conference that he sent via Twitter the picture that has captivated Washington for the past week — and that he lied about his account being hacked.
“I regret not being honest about this,” Weiner said in a tearful statement. “I was embarrassed, I was humiliated. I was trying to protect my wife. I was trying to protect myself from shame.”
He claimed to have tweeted the picture on May 27 to Seattle student Gennette Cordova “as a joke” but then “panicked” and removed the tweet from his Twitter account. Cordova, however, doesn’t understand what joke that would be. “Am I the only one still confused?” she tweeted during the press conference.
“Once I realized I had posted it on Twitter I panicked, I took it down and said I’d been hacked,” Weiner explained.
Weiner said he has had “cursory direct message contact” with Cordova and that she was not one of the women he was having an online relationship with.
Weiner said he has had online relationships with six unnamed women on Facebook and his wife knew about them in general — but she did not know until this morning that he had lied about his Twitter account being hacked. He said he had never met the women in person and the relationships had been entirely based on conversations on the Internet, conducted from his home computer rather than a government machine. All the women had received inappropriate photos from Weiner. He claimed not to know the ages of the women and they had all claimed they were adults.
“It’s always true in social media that you are relying on those characterizations, and I took them at their characterizations,” he said.
“This was me doing a dumb thing, doing it repeatedly and then lying about it,” Weiner said. His wife was not standing by his side, and he broke down several times when mentioning her.
Weiner insisted that he would not be resigning and would be “fighting very hard” to persuade his constituents that he should be re-elected in 2012.

The Dark Knight Rises

Warner Bros. issued a press release late last week announcing that production of The Dark Knight Rises — the third and possibly final film of the current Batman franchise — has commenced. Shortly thereafter, a few adrenaline-pumping teasers hit the web, including this photo of Tom Hardy as the villain Bane. Fans are in a tizzy, trying to guess what it all means?!
Well, here’s what we do know so far …
Christopher Nolan will direct; Christian Bale will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman; Anne Hathaway will star as Catwoman; Tom Hardy plays a villian named Bane; the all-star cast will also feature Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman,Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Michael Cane, Josh Pence and others. Nolan’s working with an estimated budget of $250 million, the cast is currently shooting in Jodhpur, India, but will move toPittsburgh at some point, and production is expected to last through November. The release date will likely be in July 2012.
But there’s plenty left to guess about …
First of all, the movie’s promotional website, which has kicked off the flick’s mysterious viral campaign, is kind of a mystery. It’s just a totally black screen appears along with an audio track of creepy, possibly German (?) religious chanting. That’s it. What’s up with that?
Then, you’ve got the one still from the film that’s been released so far … of Hardy as Bane, sporting a scary Hannibal Lecter-esque mask. Props to Nolan to getting something like this out so quickly. It may be one creepy pic, but really whetting fans’ appetites to know how this new villain will be portrayed.
There’s also been some speculation that a teaser trailer for the The Dark Knight Rises (or TDKR) will premiere before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two, which is due in theaters this July 15. Hopefully the rumor is spot-on, because given how many fans they likely share, bringing these two hugely successful franchises together is a brilliant marketing idea. And it’s not a shabby deal for fans either!
No matter how the TDKR campaign plays out, this much is definitely true: For the next year, Batman fans are sure to be on the edge of their seats.
